Saltwater on the Fly Saltwater Fly Fishing This is our story and we are sticking with it
Flies are a handtied story. A tyers hopes, dreams and personality go into every fly. Spinning thread, yarn and feathers thinking of the next cast. Image tying up a pattern, jumping into your skiff and catch a bonefish, tarpon, redfish or the coveted permit, chase and take. Tug is the drug of saltwater fly fishing.

It all started with this one little cast that sweetly pierced the air, with a rich dive, deep, and a smooth smooth retrieve of success – our Fly Fishing Signature blend became an overnight success – we couldn’t cast and tie enough to keep up with daily demands! Casting through life is very demanding. So go Fly Fishing!
Tying A...
Saltwater Fly Fishing is an artform all its own. Truly tying flies is the art of the sport, to casting a crab perfectly in front of your prey. When I picked up my first fly rod in my youth. I was told only three things mattered. Presentation, Presentation, and Presentation. Fifty five years later it is still the only thing that really matters. Some might argue that fly pattern is the most important, but if you don’t have the presentation, you don’t have the hook up. Salt is where the heart is warm, but a Rocky Mountain stream on a summers day casting to rising trout warms the soul. We live a life of duality. Wading a remote stream surrounded by fall colors watching brown trout slapping the water for remains of summer’s hoppers coming alive in the warming sun’s rays.
As fall fades into winter it’s time for sandy beaches of the Gulf of Mexico and south into the Caribbean Sea for some Saltwater Fly Fishing. Chasing tailing bones, to the acrobatic movements of a Permit on the run or tug is the drug of a runaway Tarpon.
