This Blood Leech is built for big trout that want a mouthful. The body mixes Fl. Coalfire and Variegated Monster Bush fur into a dense brush, ribbed with red wire for durability and a little extra flash with every strip. The tail is black Ewing Chickabou for that pulsing, breathing movement, accented with black Flash to give it life in off-color water.

Up front, a genuine Missouri River garnet (American Bar) sits as the egg, a deadly trigger when fishing the MO during egg-eating season. Gold bead chain eyes keep the head riding true and add just enough weight to get it down in the zone.

Tied articulated on an Owner stinger hook in back and a Dai-Riki 700 4XL up front, this fly has the action and durability to handle repeated takes from big browns and rainbows. A go-to streamer for the Missouri and other rivers and lakes, but it’ll work anywhere big trout chase meat.
