Some hooks were made for one job, and this is one of them. The Cox & Rawle SCR24 is a classic crab hook: short shank, offset, and forged for strength, then chemically sharpened so it’s ready to fish out of the pack.
The short shank keeps the hook compact so it disappears inside a crab pattern, and the offset helps the point find its mark. The black nickel finish is a natural fit for crab patterns and saltwater work, and the straight eye gives you a clean, simple tie-in point for building the fly however you like.
